If two or more candidates achieve the same score in the NID DAT Prelims for BDes admissions, the tie will be resolved using the following criteria:
- Aspirants with higher marks in Part II of the DAT Prelims will be given a higher rank.
- If a tie still exists, the aspirants who scored higher in Part I of the National Institute of Design DAT Prelims will be given a higher rank.
- If the tie persists, both candidates will be assigned the same rank.
