Examining the JVC 4K Projector in Detail
Sure, the price of the projector may be an instant turn off, but it is certainly worth the investment in our view. You get a lot for your money that other projectors at this price point certainly cannot match. We were overawed by the 60,000:1 Contrast Ratio Intelligent Lens Aperture which allowed a 500000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio. This maximizes the quality of the image projected in a way that was never thought possible. JVC also make use of a feature called “Clear Black Processing”. This has the aim of trying to greatly improve the local area contrast of the projected images.

One feature we weren’t so sure about before our test was the “Active Shutter 3D” functionality. This functionality allows the projector to make use of Frame Sequential and Top-Bottom 3D Anamorphic images. Although it can be complicated to use, it is worth fiddling about with the settings to get an image that is right for you.
Using projectors can often be a complicated and frustrating experience, but with the JVC Home Theater Projector, you can make use of the smartphone app to easily control and make changes to the settings of the projector in ways you never thought possible. I found making small image adjustments to be very straightforward within the app.
If you prefer a simple configuration, there are fivepresets available, which allows you to get going quickly.The quality of the motorized 2X Zoom Lens (1.4:1 – 2.8:1) needs to be seen to be believed and contributes well to the images produced.
Another worthy feature to comment on is the Real Color Imaging Technology that comes as standard. It really helps take images to the next level.
